As part of our leading role in the Urban Rooms Network, Live Works has been developing a website to allow members to share ideas across the network and to showcase the activities of individual urban rooms. You can visit the website, and see what other urban rooms across the country have been up to, at https://urbanroomsnetwork.wordpress.com.
The Urban Rooms Network is part of Place Alliance, a new movement campaigning for place quality which emerged following the Farrell Review of Architecture and the Built Environment. The network is made up of community groups and organisations with existing or proposed permanent or temporary urban rooms across the country, and is chaired by Live Works’ Carolyn Butterworth.
